Client Discharged at Prelim of Allegedly Possessing 12 Live Grenades and Other Weapons Related Charges

On December 19th, 2017, Morgan Ross had A.D. discharged at the preliminary inquiry, of allegedly having possessed 12 live grenades, a loaded 9mm handgun and rounds of ammunition. Morgan Ross secured the discharge in the Ontario Court of Justice in Scarborough. The issue at the preliminary inquiry was voluntariness of an utterance stating “it’s mine, they’re all mine” after A.D. was arrested for possessing explosive devices and a firearm. A.D. faced a lengthy penitentiary sentence had he been committed to stand trial and convicted in the Superior Court of Justice.
