Daniel MacAdam

Daniel MacAdam received an Honours Degree in philosophy before going to law school at Queens University in Kingston.  His studies in philosophy sharpened his already acute concern with the power of the state over the rights of the individual and this lead directly to his choice to study and practice criminal law.

A partner at Rusonik, O'Connor, Robbins, Ross, & Angelini, LLP, for the past decade, Mr. MacAdam has successfully defended clients charged with offences ranging from assault to murder, possession of marijuana to possession of firearms, robbery, sexual assault, and large-scale frauds.

His clients come from all types of backgrounds but they are all secure in knowing that they have a dedicated, tireless advocate with a proven track record of success on their side.

Managing partner Reid Rusonik says, “Daniel joined us practically as a pre-formed trial lawyer, with all the sense, talent and attitude that entails.  He’s been defending the most difficult cases from the very beginning and impressing everyone—his partners, judges, Crowns and, most of all, his devoted clients.”

Mr. MacAdam understands that for most people confronting the criminal justice system the process can feel frightening and overwhelming.  He knows that when it is your life and your freedom on the line that you need someone who will take the time to get to know you, study your case, and make sure that you understand exactly what is happening at every stage of the process. Clients of Mr. MacAdam know they can call (647-984-4122) or e-mail (macadam@criminaltriallawyers.ca) him 24 hours per day, seven days a week with any questions or concerns they have.
