Hilary Dudding

Hilary Dudding dedicated herself to becoming a top-flight criminal defence lawyer before she even left law school, working tirelessly as a caseworker at the University of Toronto’s Downtown Legal Services student clinic.  This lead to being recruited as an articling student by Pinkofskys, then Canadas largest criminal defence firm.  She was hired back as a lawyer and began carrying a rigorous caseload of difficult cases that honed her into a respected, veteran trial lawyer in short order.  Hilary joined with most of the Pinkofskys lawyers upon Mr. Pinkofskys retirement to form Rusonik, OConnor, Robbins, Ross, and Angelini LLP, where she is a partner.

Hilary’s partner, Liam O’Connor, calls Hilary “an extraordinary advocate” whose “fearlessness, charm and dedication to every client makes her one of the firm’s biggest winners.”

There is no case Hilary cannot and will not defend, in courts all over Ontario, but she has developed particular abilities in the defence of people charged with firearms, criminal organization, drugs, sexual assault and human trafficking offences.

She is consulted as a leader in in the area of the use and misuse of rap and artistic expression in criminal trials.

Hilary is a member in good standing of the Criminal LawyersAssociation, the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Durham Lawyers Association, The York Region Law Association, and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
