Mr. Adam P. Newman has been a proud partner at Rusonik, O’Connor, Robbins, Ross, & Angelini, LLP since 2021.

Mr. Newman has provided an exceptionally passionate and strategic defence to his clients. He strongly believes that every accused has the right to a dedicated lawyer and a vigorous defence.

Mr. Newman is an active member of the Criminal Lawyers Association and an impanelled member of Legal Aid Ontario specializing in Criminal Law.

Mr. Newman has experience representing diverse clientele at every stage of the legal process. He has achieved outstanding results for his clients at bail hearings, forfeiture hearings, crown pre-trials, judicial pre-trials, preliminary hearings and trials at the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice, including a Double Homicide at 361 University in Toronto.

Mr. Newman received a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Philosophy from Queen’s University before completing his law degree at the University of Western Ontario. Prior to becoming a partner at Rusonik, O’Connor, Robbins, Ross, & Angelini, LLP, Mr. Newman was an associate at Derstine Penman Criminal Lawyers and Cedric Nahum Law.

Mr. Newman defends clients with various charges under the Criminal Code of CanadaControlled Drugs and Substances Act, and Youth Criminal Justice Act. He has experience dealing with a wide range of charges including, but not limited to, simple assault, sex assault, aggravated assault, robbery, criminal harassment, utter threats, criminal organization, break and enter, theft, fraud, setting traps, driving offences, flight police, obstruct justice, firearm offences, drug trafficking, human trafficking, attempted murder, and murder.
