Andrew Domacina is a fierce advocate for his client’s rights and freedoms. Andrew has a particular interest in litigating breaches of the Charter and has secured numerous successful results in firearm and drug-related offences, organized crime, robbery and sexual assault cases.

Andrew’s passion for criminal defence is founded in his own life experience of having witnessed the systemic inequality of the criminal justice system first-hand. His philosophy is that no matter how big or small your case is, you deserve a fighter that will rigorously defend your rights throughout every step of the process.

Andrew obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Lakehead University, graduating with the distinction of First Class Standing. Before attending law school, Andrew completed a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Arts in both Political Science and Kinesiology from York University, while also building a successful career in the security management industry.

Prior to joining Rusonik, O’Connor, Robbins, Ross & Angelini LLP as a Partner, Andrew worked for a reputable high volume criminal defence firm where he obtained a tremendous amount of litigation experience in just few years.

Andrew regularly represents clients at the Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. He is a member of the Criminal Lawyers Association, Toronto Lawyers Association and Durham Region Law Association.
