Katie Scott is a dedicated and experienced lawyer with over 20 years of criminal law practice. Ms. Scott obtained her law degree from Dalhousie University (2003), and a BA (Hons.) St. Mary’s University. While from Ontario she really enjoyed her time in Halifax.

Katie is a partner of Rusonik, OConnor, Robbins, Ross & Angelini LLP, Canada’s largest criminal defence firm, since July 2010 after already being a partner at the firm’s predecessor, Pinkofskys Criminal Trial and Appeal Lawyers, since 2005.

Katie defends a broad range of charges with a focus on defending Sexual Assault, Human Trafficking, Manslaughter, and Murder allegations. She has been counsel on large scale prosecutions involving drugs, firearms and criminal organizations allegations – Project XXX, Project Kryptic, Project Phoenix, Project Corral, Project Flicker, Project Folkstone.

Over the last 20 years Katie has appeared at all levels of trial courts in Ontario which has resulted in refining her legal skills and trial strategy.

She is a member of various legal associations, volunteers with or at: local high schools, Law Day, moot court coaching, Ontario Justice Education Network, Law Day, Toronto Metropolitan University (Moot Society), Humber College (Law Clerk/Paralegal program).
