Katie Scott is a dedicated and experienced lawyer with over 20 years of criminal law practice. Ms. Scott obtained her law degree from Dalhousie University (2003), and a BA (Hons.) St. Mary’s University. While from Ontario she really enjoyed her time in Halifax.
Katie is a partner of Rusonik, O’Connor, Ross, Hershberg, Ghebrai & M A C Donald LLP, Canada’s largest criminal defence firm, since July 2010 after already being a partner at the firm’s predecessor, Pinkofskys Criminal Trial and Appeal Lawyers, since 2005.
Katie defends a broad range of charges with a focus on defending Sexual Assault, Human Trafficking, Manslaughter, and Murder allegations. She has been counsel on large scale prosecutions involving drugs, firearms and criminal organizations allegations – Project XXX, Project Kryptic, Project Phoenix, Project Corral, Project Flicker, Project Folkstone.
